Tony and I were always fortunate enough to be around older gay people…both single and couples…to get advice and hear wisdom. And I think that’s important for younger gay people to hear.
Things are a little easier now for younger gay people, but not totally. There are still issues we all deal with.
“What I wish would have been available to me when I was 20, was the opportunity to speak with someone who had experienced what I was experiencing as I was coming out,” says Jeff Levy, a gay, Chicago-based psychotherapist.
