The Virgin Billionaire’s Excellent Adventure

Just wanted to post that there’s a novella coming out soon for The Virgin Billionaire series titled, THE VIRGIN BILLIONAIRE’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE. And in this novella, a good deal is written in Jase’s POV, which I don’t do often. Usually it’s from Luis’s POV.

When the publisher asked me to do this novella, I didn’t want to at first. But then I thought about it and realized what a great opportunity it would be to use this novella to bring the last book and the next book together. I’m also glad I got this chance to get back to the basics of the series, which focuses mainly on Jase and Luis. In the last book, I focused a lot on Luis’s identical twin brother, Gage, and I wrote most of the book in his POV.

I’m always careful to make sure that all the books in this series will stand alone…in other words, if someone reads the third book in the series they don’t need the two previous books to get it.

But the novella stands alone, too. And there’s no need to read the other books in the series to get it.

Product Information: The Virgin Billionaire Series…

Since I’m now posting more product information for all my books and short stories, I figured I’d better post this information about The Virgin Billionaire series, too. Sometimes it’s difficult to get all the facts out, and authors and publishers get busy and tend to take things for granted.

I’ve had a few e-mails from readers asking whether or not the books in the Virgin Billionaire series could be read as stand alones. In other words, would someone have to begin with the first book in the series and then read the others consecutively.

And the answer is no. Though each book follows a pattern in the series, each book can also be read on its own. You don’t need to read the first book in order to “get” the fifth. It helps, but I try to make quick explanations in all the books with back story, without getting too long and stopping the story. Also, there are no cliffhangers at the end of the books; no teases to get readers to buy the next book.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to continue to e-mail me. All e-mails I receive are treated with privacy and absolute discretion. You won’t wind up getting spammed.

New Release: STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM AT THE PLAZA

My new stand alone, STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM AT THE PLAZA, was just released today and I wanted to post something quick. This is different from my other books. It’s not as erotic and the heat level is much lower. It is, however, probably the most romantic story I’ve written in a long time. And, another version of it was published in a romance anthology by Alyson Books a few years back. This time I added a few extra perks to the storyline and changed the style in ways I wasn’t allowed to do before because I didn’t have creative control over the final edit. I’m happy with the final project now; I hope readers are, too. Below is a blurb. I’ll post excerpts sometime next week.

Hope everyone has a good Memorial Day Weekend.

Handsome, young Kellan works too hard and doesn’t spend enough time meeting new men. Deep down, he’s an old-fashioned guy who believes in romance and true love. He’s tired of sex for the sake of sex and wonders about whether or not he’ll ever meet the man of his dreams and fall in love. Though he’s willing to put his heart on the line to start a new relationship, the men he’s been seeing aren’t interested. Until he finally comes in contact with a nice young guy he never expected to meet. They exchange a few e-mails, set up a date to meet in Central Park, and wind up spending a wonderful Sunday morning together that ends at The Plaza Hotel where they dine on strawberries and cream. After that, they discover a connection neither one of them could have predicted. And though they are extremely attracted to each other, Kellan is adamant about getting to know the man he’s falling in love with first before they jump into bed together.

1romanceebooks.com

I was recently pointed to an online e-book retailer called 1romanceebooks.com. I’d never been to the site before, so I’m not sure whether or not it’s brand new. But it looks like it’s simple to navigate, simple to order from, and it gives all the basic info on all the books being sold.

My www.loveyoudivine.com books are being sold there, too. These are all stand alone e-books that I only publish with lyd because they tend to lean more toward erotic romance and erotica than romance. One, DOWN THE BASEMENT, was originally part of a collection of short stories that was published by Cleis Press and won last year’s Lambda award for gay erotica. And the rest are either originals or previously published short stories that were in books by either Cleis Press or STARbooks Press. There’s also a new one being released on March 19th, titled, A REGULAR BUD.

So if you’re into e-books, check out 1romanceebooks to see if it’s for you. They seem to carry all authors and titles (except none of my ravenous romance books are there), and their prices aren’t bad either.
