Twink Found Guilty For Murdering 52 year Old

I find this scary because according to this article it all happened through an online hook up. I’m not knocking online hook ups. Millions of people do it. I just think we have to be so cautious nowadays.

A British teen has been found guilty of murdering a 52-year-old by slashing his throat after meeting him on Grindr.

Ben Bamford, 18, inflicted more than 40 injuries during a ‘sustained’ attack on senior tax officer Paul Jefferies in the latter’s home in east Sussex.

The 52-year-old was found naked with a dish towel covering his head on his blood-covered kitchen floor.

More Gays In China Coming Out

I always find it interesting to read about gay culture in other parts of the world. Here’s one that talks about more gays coming out in China.

Evidently, they do a report in China on the LGBT community. One of the things they found, in spite of the fact that most families still encourage traditional heteronormative values, is that things seem to be changing.

More LGB people plan to come out: 22% of gay and bisexual men and 12% of lesbian and bisexual women plan to tell no-one about their identity in the next five years, versus 30% of men and 16% of women last year.

Here’s the rest. Same sex marriage is still not legal in China.

Sexuality In Ancient Greece and Rome

You rarely ever hear about sexuality in history, and I always wonder about it. You know Ben Franklin and George Washington had sex. Sex has always been around. People like it…well, most people. But it’s always such a taboo topic, especially gay sex.

Here’s an article that goes into a little more detail about sexuality in ancient Greece and Rome.

Most of us know that the ancient pagan world was more tolerant of homosexuality than the one god religions that would follow. But how tolerant were the ancient Greeks and Romans? It turns out they weren’t nearly as tolerant as you might like to think.

Neither the Greeks or the Romans had a concept of homosexuality or heterosexuality.
Men were assumed to be attracted to both males and females, and to express a preference for just one sex was considered eccentric.
