James Franco Erased From Vanity Fair Cover; A Silly Penis Game; TV’s First Series About A Gay Deaf Man

James Franco Erased From Vanity Fair Cover

It seems as though James Franco is still getting slammed over the sexual misconduct allegations.

Franco participated in the magazine’s interview and portrait session by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, but he was digitally erased after that damning Los Angeles Times’ report detailing five women’s allegations of sexually inappropriate or exploitative behavior.

You can check this out, here. I think the key word here is allegation, because nothing’s been proven yet…as far as I know. Check out the comments with this one.

It’s interesting to note that while James Franco is getting slammed over allegations, many people are celebrating a movie titled Call Me By Your Name with a barely legal 17 year old boy who is having sex with an older man. But maybe I’m the only one who sees the irony in that.

A Silly Penis Game

This is unusual. It’s about penises fighting each other and some people are raving about it.

But one game has flipped that script in a way that no other game has ever dared to. The ridiculous comedy game Genital Jousting by Freelives makes the cockfighting literal, and in the process, creates one of the most cathartic, challenging, provocative, and liberating play experiences in recent memory.

Here’s the rest.

TV’s First Series About A Gay Deaf Man

It looks as if this could be good. I hope so anyway. If nothing else, it sounds authentic. And compared to what we usually see on TV about gay people, that’s a novelty in itself.

Josh Feldman is a queer actor, writer, and producer from Los Angeles. He also happens to be deaf. His new series This Close follows two deaf friends as they navigate through their late 20s and early 30s.

There’s a lot more here. It will be on the Sundance channel in February. I usually enjoy what they do over there. I also dated someone who was deaf once, too. A very nice guy.
