Pulse Nightclub Memorial
This is bittersweet, and there are still no words to this day to express the sadness.
Orlando, Florida will buy Pulse nightclub and convert the site into a memorial.
Mayor Buddy Dyer has said the city has reached a deal to buy the gay nightclub for $2.25 million (€2 million), around $600,000 more than its appraised value.
On 12 June, 49 people were killed and 53 people were injured.
The article goes on to mention how they’re planning to work with the LGBT community on the memorial.
How 15 Famous Gays Voted
This one is interesting because I know a lot of gay men and LGBT people, and I know how they voted, why, and for whom.
Most like Matt Bomer and husband Simon Halls, Scandal actor Guillermo Diaz, actors Alan Cumming, Cheyenne Jackson and Wilson Cruz and YouTube star Connor Franta made it clear that they had voted for Hillary Clinton who could become the first female president in United States history.

I usually write these posts a day earlier than I post them, so at this time I have absolutely no idea who will win the election. However, I think this entire election has changed everyone, hopefully for the better. Although, I have no doubt millions will be disappointed either way.

IBM Most LGBT Friendly
This is what I like to see happening. There are millions of people who fall under the umbrella of LGBT working in corporate America. And up until recently they’ve never had any representation. In fact, you rarely hear about them.
For the third year in a row, tech giant IBM has been named the world’s most LGBT-inclusive employer by Amsterdam-based Workplace Pride Foundation.
This is the third year that Workplace Pride has compiled its Global Benchmark Survey – to which companies submit themselves for consideration. The evaluation of each company is carried out with support from the University of Leiden.
You can check this out here. From what I gather, through the many LGBT friends I have personally, LGBT people are coming out more and more in corporate America.
