Anti-Gays Attack Each Other

Just when you think you’ve heard it all something like this comes along. Two anti-gay zealots who each thought the other was gay attacked each other.

In a video uploaded by Liberali, one homophobe is seen talking to a group of people about the day’s event in front of the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

But then another wearing a purple shirt, who wrongly believed the first man was gay, demanded he leave the ‘holy place’.

 He says: ‘I shall not let you stand next to me, next to true God! Leave now!’

The two then traded jabs, and when they were held back from violence, are heard swearing at each other.

Both can be heard calling each other ‘metraki’ – the Georgian slang for ‘faggot’. Police soon intervened, and took one of the two out of the scuffle.

Amy Kushnir’s Hypocrisy 

Speaking of dumb and gay hate, here’s more about Amy Kushnir.  Remember my post about the TV talk show host in Texas who stormed off the set because she didn’t like Michael Sam’s public gay kiss? Well this amusing. They found photos and a video of her, Amy Kushnir,  having a great time with male strippers.

This is what she said before she stormed off the set last week:

 ‘When parents do not have a choice about whether or not they want their children to see this, it is wrong,’ she opined, according to Gawker. ‘I don’t call it a moment of celebration…It’s being pushed in faces. I don’t want to see that. I don’t want to see cake in your face, kissing each other.’

Evidently, she doesn’t see anything wrong with objectifying men in a highly sexual situation and interviewing them on TV half naked, which many other people would find objectionable. Here’s the video from youtube.http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=39yws97h1lI

I actually wonder how someone like her gets a job on TV in any market. She’s a cliché a minute, literally. “In a nutshell.”

Hop Against Homophobia

Every year around this time there’s a blog hop called The Hop Against Homophobia and Transphobia. I was in it last year, and a few times. This year it absolutely missed my radar because of so many family health issues that have been happening since January. But I did want to post something about it, and next year I’ll be more diligent in finding out when it’s happening and how I can contribute. Missing this one bothered me a great deal because I do think this makes a difference.
