“Gaysians” At London Pride
Here’s a story about a new support group that’s being referred to as “Gaysians.” It’s about uniting British Asian LGBT+ people under one banner.
For me, building a community and central resource for British Asian LGBTI people had been developing as a thought for some years.
I found it a challenge to access support after coming out to my family who are quite a traditional Indian family. It was quite isolating from my culture when I was disowned by them, so I started to get involved in sharing my own experiences to help fill the void in these stories being available.

A 78 Year Old Gay Man Talking To A 13 Year Old Gay Kid
This is one of those articles I love to see. I’m still fascinated with stories my older gay friends tell me, about what life was like for them when they were younger. I can only imagine what it must be like for a 13 year old.
A 78-year-old gay man sat down with a gay boy 65 years younger in a beautiful and emotional video.
The release of the video coincides with 50 years since the decriminalization of homosexuality in the UK.
In it, 78-year-old Percy tells 13-year-old teen Louis what it was like growing up gay when it was illegal.
Social Network Blued and Gay Apps
I’m not familiar with this one, but I am curious about it. The main point seems to be that Blued is not a dating app. It’s a gay social network that focuses on more than just body and sex.
Some people might think Blued is a dating-style app rather than a social network – can you explain briefly how it differs to other apps that are out there?
At first look, we can see why people would think that: you log in to Blued and see a grid. This automatically (thank you other dating/hook-up apps) rings alarm bells in one’s mind.
This is why the concept of Breaking the Grid was important to us: as you start navigating the app and you will see how rich it is, we truly go beyond the grid.

They are claiming all profile photos are real, and there are no fake profiles. Everything about it sounds positive at this point.
