A Fan Tried To Bait Colton Haynes Out of the Closet
This is disturbing to me because even though I advocate everyone coming out, I don’t believe anyone should ever be forced to come out…or baited. I think it’s up to the individual and no one should push them or bait them into coming out.
Evidently, someone tried to bait Stephen Amell (one of Haynes’ co-stars) into getting Colton Haynes to come out. Here’s what Amell says…
Again, I’m not fond of anyone forcing anyone to come out. It’s just too personal. And I’m glad it seems as though Haynes came out in his own way, and in his own time. And I would so love to have someone’s “fan” pull something like that on me. It would be the last time they did it.
Conservative States and Gay Films
This is kind of interesting.
According to a recent PornHub survey, in states like Mississippi and North Carolina — both of which recently enacted antigay legislature — rates of porn consumption are curiously high, especially same-sex content. Of the top five gay porn-consuming states in the country, three are in the South, an area not particularly known for its sweeping LGBTQ inclusiveness.
Madonna’s Prince Tribute and Twitter Shade
I don’t know anything about this one. I didn’t even see it on Twitter.
The shade was real on Twitter last night as Madonna attempted to pay tribute to Prince during the Billboard Music Awards.
Evidently they didn’t like it.
You can read more about that here, with screen shots of a few tweets.
I didn’t see it so I don’t know.
