Gayest Brady Bunch Episode

Don’t ask me why, but I was curious and I fell for the clickbait…

Every few months this Funny or Die video from 2010 gets circulated in our newsfeed and we have to drop everything and watch it again. Appropriately titled “Oliver Twist,” the comedy site inserts a sassy gay version of the character originally played by Robbie Rist who gets the customary warm welcome from the Bradys (“I feel like the last quaalude at a key party,” he exclaims) before the kids realize he’s a walking disaster area.

The comments are mixed. As far as parody goes, though, it’s actually clever.

A Day Without Grindr

With so many things happening out there I’m not sure why the gay presses are still so focused on hate politics and pointless pieces like this one below, but it’s what I’m still seeing headlining in gay news.

And that’s a little scary, because readers seem to prefer various topics, not just one focus. I’ve seen gay presses come and go in the past, and mostly it’s due to their unending self-indulgence with politics, and the inability to let go of the old gay stereotypes. I hope that’s not going to happen again, especially now that we’re just beginning to realize how diverse the gay community really is. In other words, the news is out there but we’re not getting it all, and I happen to like gay news and I want them to stick around.

In any event…

L.A.-based sketch comedy duo and YouTubers Cool Kid Adjacent have come up with a clever, effective, and non-preachy vid that encourages gays to look up from their phones and get into the variety of hot guys that ripe for the picking in the real world.

39 Gay Sex Toys

This is actually pretty interesting. It talks candidly about how sex can be intimidating in the beginning, and how sex toys can help ease a lot of the anxiety for younger men before they actually have sex. And if you’re a gay man there are certain things you have to learn. It’s not…and never was…as easy as Brokeback Mountain led you to believe it was.

I’ll be honest guys, I did not enjoy sex toys when I first came on the scene. I was a freshman in college, brand new to sex, and all my friends, left and right, were exploring their anal pleasures with dildos. “It helps you get used to the feeling,” one guy told me in his dorm room. “I go at my own speed so that when the real thing comes, I’m ready.”
