Andrew Rannells’ Forced Hand Job

This is pure clickbait at its best, but the comments and the video are amusing. No one actually grabbed Andrew Rannells by the back of the neck and forced him to perform hand job sex. He’s talking about a performance he gave where the character was expected to give a hand job.

The actor who headlined the Broadway revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch last summer shared the challenges he faced when asked to perform his very first onscreen handjob. When he read the script, naturally his first thought was, “Who gives a handjob?” But being a professional actor, Rannells manned up and performed the task. He even learned that his scene partner actor hailed from his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. “He was like, ‘Do you think that the Omaha paper would write about this?’” Rannells said. “Local boys share hand job! I was like, ‘I guess we could try.’”

I’m not sure what Rannells is talking about when he asks who gives a hand job. Last I heard that’s still happening and probably always will be. Maybe he’s just into into it personally. Who knows? In any event, you can read more here and watch the clip.

I’m sure the comments tomorrow will be even more entertaining.

Prop 8 Lawyer on SCOTUS Ruling

This isn’t set in granite by any means, and anything that can happen often does happen, however, the attorney who argued against California’s Prop 8 thinks that SCOTUS will approve gay marriage and it will be the end of the debate once and for all…legally and federally.

‘The argument is overwhelming that there is a federal constitutional right to marry a person that you love,’ the attorney maintained.

‘And 36 states have held that,’ Boies continued. ‘Seventy percent of the American people now live in a state that has constitutional or statutory marriage equality.’

And this is just in the last year it’s all happened. If you recall, Tony and I were married in Vermont last January and when we returned home to Bucks County, Pennsylvania where we live marriage still wasn’t legal.

But it has been a long time coming to pass in a general sense…most of our lifetimes. You can read the read here.

Stephen Fry and Elliot Spencer Marry

In a world where I see gay discrimination and closeted gays still living in fear almost daily, and those who don’t live in denial, this is the kind of thing that always gives me hope for the future. Stephen Fry and Elliot Spencer were married and they posted about it in Twitter.

The actor posted on Twitter a picture of him and the new husband sitting in front of a register.

‘Gosh. @ElliottGSpencer and I go into a room as two people, sign a book and leave as one. Amazing,’ Fry wrote under a picture of the happy couple.

Fellow actor Hugh Laurie tweeted good will to both.

‘Bloody hell it’s happened! @ElliottGSpencer has made an honest man of m’col. Love and happiness to all!!’

You can see the happiness in their faces. Check it out here.
