Zambian Gay Activist Arrested

He was on Monday charged with “inciting the public to take part in indecent activities,” police chief Solomon Jere told AFP. He said he would appear in court soon.

Homosexuality is not legal in most African countries, according to this article. The television station stood behind the gay activist in Zambia and would not let them arrest him until the show was over.
