Can Ted Cruz Run For President?
They pass the term “birther” around these days as if it should be associated with shame and fanaticism, however, this isn’t the first time the Natural Born Citizen issue has come up and I think it’s time we put an end to it once and for all so it doesn’t ever come up again.
Just what is the law and what defines a “Natural Born Citizen?” Ted Cruz was born in Canada, and not on a military base and not in an American Embassy…as far as I know.
Republican presidential contender Ted Cruz should be disqualified from the race because he isn’t a “natural-born citizen,” a fellow Texan claims in a “birther” challenge filed against the senator in a U.S. court.
The suit seeks a court definition of the term to clarify whether Cruz — who was born in Canada to an American mother — can or can’t serve if elected.
“This 229-year question has never been pled, presented to or finally decided by or resolved by the U.S. Supreme Court,” Houston attorney Newton B. Schwartz Sr. said in his 28-page complaint. “Only the U.S. Supreme Court can finally decide, determine judicially and settle this issue now.”
Even though I’m a gay American and I would be denied marriage equality if Ted Cruz had his way, I was born in Newark, NJ, on American soil, to American citizens. My family dates back to 18th century America. I have the records to prove it. I’m not being smug about that, but I can state that I am, indeed, a natural born citizen. Cruz can’t do that. Cruz was born on Canadian soil, not American soil. And the issue is taking up time and a lot of energy. I think it’s time we heard a ruling on this issue once and for all.
Her Husband Hooked Up With a Dude
Here’s a story about a woman who doesn’t think people can be bisexual, and when she found out her husband had sex with a guy in college before he met her, and that he is bisexual, she freaked.
“The next day, my husband told me that he is bisexual,” the woman says. “He said he’d had a relationship with another man in college before he met me. But he reassured me that I had nothing to worry about because he loves me and has no desire to be with anyone else of either sex.”

There are some straight women out there who just cannot handle the thought of men being with men, let alone knowing their husbands were once with men. I’ve had them literally sneer at me sometimes. And God forbid you flirt with their husbands.
Forced To Dress Up In Drag In Cranston Rhode Island
This is a peculiar story. The city of Cranston Rhode Island’s director of senior services and executive director of Cranston’s Senior Enrichment Center held a press conference in January and she wanted a female senior citizen standing behind her while she spoke. Staged. Evidently, this director couldn’t find a senior woman, so she forced a man to dress up in drag and pretend to be a senior woman.
For whatever reason, Stenhouse really, really wanted an elderly woman to appear in the background during the photo op. But rather than going through the trouble of asking an actual old lady to appear with her, she instead coerced a middle-aged man into donning a wig, earrings, lipstick, blush and a dress then slapping on a name tag that said “Cranston Senior Home Resident” and awkwardly standing behind her while she spoke to the cameras.

When everyone found out, which of course they did, the director resigned and has since gone into “hiding.” I don’t know what hiding means. Maybe she thinks someone will recognize her if she leaves Rhode Island?!?
