Colton Haynes and Smiles For Soldiers Campaign

Here’s yet another terrific Tuesday story about how nice Colton Haynes is. He’s family oriented, he’s always interacting with his fans, and he never gets too overbearing about anything. You can tell what he posts on social media is genuine. And…he’s very young and adorable. For some reason he just reminds me of the main character in my best selling Virgin Billionaire series…Luis…and I didn’t even know who Colton Haynes was when I wrote those books for Ravenous Romance back in 2010.

This is his latest selfless project:

Smiles for Soldiers, which is encouraging thousands to write thank-you cards to military service members, tackles a cause that’s near and dear to Colton. His sister served in the Air Force for over 15 years, including three tours abroad. So Colton knows firsthand how difficult it can be to be separated from the people we love while they’re serving our country.

What did you think about Colton Haynes’ N’Sync collection?

That’s a solid question. I have to say my mother’s collection beats his. She has everything. But I love Colton. He’s a good buddy of mine and we have a bond with N’Sync. He loves the group, and of course, I did too.

PrEP, Chem Sex, and HIV Drug Smuggling

On Saturday, at the MSM pre-conference (“Gay Day”) at AIDS2016, hundreds of HIV advocates showed up to discuss some of the most important issues today.

In his first installment of video coverage from AIDS2016, blogger Mark S. King gets personal with these advocates about their lives back home. He also chats with a “chem sex” expert from the United Kingdom about the surprising rates of crystal meth use among gay Londoners, and even engages in a little PrEP drug smuggling with a German who is taking the prevention medication even though PrEP has yet to be approved in his home country.
