British Soap’s Male Rape Scene

You don’t see anyone doing this on TV often.

Coronation Street is one of the longest-running soap operas in the U.K. It premiered in December 1960 and has aired nearly 10,000 episodes since. Well, this week, the show tackled one of its most controversial topics to date: male rape.

Police arrested Derrick Irving, 36, and John Silva, 28, on 13 March. They also stole several items, including a flat-screen television, window A/C unit, and a vacuum.
Here’s the rest of it. Wait until you read what one of them was wearing. I’m not joking.
