Jasmine Waltz who is the ex-girlfriend of British Pop singer, Lee Ryan, recently accused Ryan of being gay. And where else would she do this? On Twitter, of course. They met while doing Celebrity Big Brother in the UK and when it was all over and Waltz went back to LA she wound up severely disappointed when she discovered Ryan allegedly went back to men. Lee Ryan has already openly stated he’s bisexual and Waltz knew this.

She then tweeted: ‘Wish this was a joke. Living a lie and dragging other ppl into your life is selfish and disgusting… #bereal #manup.’

Waltz then deleted most of her tweet rants, except this one is still there.

One tweet that remains posted is: ‘It always comes out In the end.’

But more: Waltz has also admitted to “finding” love with a woman while she was in jail. (I’m not sure why she was in jail and don’t really care.)

I think it’s interesting because all this bisexual drama is always kept so quiet. I also think this falls under the proverbial category of “He’s Just Not That Into You.”

I don’t think you can call an admittedly bisexual man gay.

That’s So House Hunters

I’m not sure why the TV show House Hunters always resonates so much with gay men, but almost every gay man I know watches it. I know a lot of gay Realtors, and Tony has his real estate license in escrow. Maybe we’re addicted to homes…or buying homes. I’m honestly not sure. But I think one of the most entertaining things about House Hunters is watching some of the people on the show come off like such train wrecks. And half the fun in watching is commenting on some of the ridiculous things they say while house hunting.

And you would think that after more than fifteen years on TV we’d get bored with House Hunters.  But so far that doesn’t seem to be happening, and now there’s a new version of the show called, “That’s So House Hunters.” I think it’s a special that’s only going to air once in a while, but I could be wrong about that. I hope it’s going to air more often because the show actually jokes around about some of the previous people hunting for homes in the same snarky way we all do while we’re watching House Hunters. At first, I thought it would be just another dumb special with boring clips and run-of-the-mill comments. But that wasn’t the case at all.  This is just one small example of what I watched last night, paraphrased:

House Hunter: OMG, look at that paint, honey. I don’t think I can live with that.

Realtor: It’s only paint. You can change it. Paint is cheap.

That’s So House Hunter’s Comment: Yeah, right. How many times have we heard that one on House Hunters. Paint is not cheap.

It’s really amusing because I don’t know how many times I’ve said the same thing to Tony. The last time I bought paint it was between thirty and forty dollars a gallon. And who needs only a few gallons of paint?

In any event, here’s the description at the HGTV web site.

Since 1999, House Hunters has been that oh-so-addicting show viewers can’t get enough of! We’re exploring the root cause of the House Hunters phenomenon by revisiting the outrageous characters, quirky homes, and ever-prevalent cliches. Hosted by Chuck Nice with commentary provided by comedians and pop culture experts, HGTV is celebrating America’s favorite obsession as we say That’s So House Hunters!

Mississippi Gay Hate Law

A law similar to the discriminating law Arizona almost implemented recently has passed in Mississippi. All it needs now is one signature by Governor Phil Bryant, a Republican, and he’s hinted that he will support and sign it.

Supporters of Senate Bill 2681, called the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, argue the proposal only keeps the state from administrating harsh burdens on the faithful.

‘It protects Christians in the state from discrimination,’ Representative Andy Gipson, a Republican and Baptist pastor, told his House colleagues, according to the Mississippi Press.

I think if this happens the majority of the US will go blank on Mississippi completely. And unfortunately, the good people in Mississippi who don’t support this law will have to suffer more than anyone. Even more unfortunate, this isn’t going to help Mississippi shake that bad stereotype they’ve had since the civil rights movement. Even most Republicans are starting to think differently, at least the ones I know…all happen to be Christians, too.

Lee Ryan’s Had Men; Gov. Christie Debacle

Lee Ryan’s Had Men

This is different because it’s not so much a famous person coming out story as much as it is a famous person admitting he’s been with men. Lee Ryan, from boyband fame, is currently one of the houseguests on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK and he spoke about this recently. He doesn’t claim to be gay either. In this case, it’s been purely physical.

“‘Yeah I’ve been with a man. Everyone’s done experimentational s***. I’ll tell you later,” he told the women.

He then added: “Of course, man. I’m a well-travelled person. I’ve never admitted it anywhere. No-one’s bothered to ask.”

The article states he came out as bisexual but I’m not so sure about that. I think there’s a difference between experimenting with the same sex and actually being bisexual.

Gov. Christie Debacle

Living only a mile from New Jersey, and so close to Trenton, the capital of NJ, we get a lot of NJ news. And I’ve been following the massive debacle happening with the Christie administration and shaking my head…for reasons no one has mentioned so far.

In case you haven’t heard, this an overview of what’s been happening:

Gov. Chris Christie on Thursday apologized to his constituents and said he was “embarrassed and humiliated” by his staff, one day after emails and text messages revealed his administration may have closed highway lanes to exact political retribution.

In other words, people on his staff created a huge traffic jam on the GW bridge to get even with another politician for something he either did or didn’t do in the last election. It almost sounds too childish to be true, and I’m not going into the details.

But I do want to comment on this. Aside from the fact that what they did was horrible, when you think about how painfully clueless they were to put it “in writing” in texts and e-mails you have to wonder what they were thinking at the time. Could there be a disconnect with all of our government officials and technology? Let’s not forget about the healthcare web site and how clueless that’s been.

You can read more here.

I have a rule about e-mail and texts. Never put it in writing unless I’m willing to let the entire world see it. I’ve seen too many other people get burned by e-mails they never intended to be seen. And I NEVER do mass e-mails to anyone. That’s way too dangerous.
