Alex Minsky Nude Full Frontal
First, the link in this part of the post is NSFW so you’ve been warned. I’m posting about it for two reasons. One, this guy is not only unbelievably good looking he’s also an inspiration in so many ways the post would be too long if I started to list them. And second, I find the title of this post on the link insulting and discriminatory.
Here’s the title I think is so offensive:
Will Marine Turned Underwear Model Alex Minsky Please Start Doing Amputee Porn Already?
Here’s a quote:
Former U.S. Marine Alex Minsky, who’s lower right leg was blown off by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan, started underwear modeling last year for the simple reason that he has an amazing body and he’s an exhibitionist. Lately he’s been taking nude selfies…
So where’s the respect? And why does it have to be amputee porn? If he’s going to do porn why does it need a label? I know there’s a fringe fetish market for things of this nature. I’m not discounting that. However, in this context it’s just plain wrong. The comments seem to agree with me.
I think he’s an inspiration. You can view all his nude photos here.
American Horror Story Gay Content
On Wednesday night, American Horror Story: Freak Show, went all out with erotic gay content. Some was a little gruesome, too. But it’s one of the few times I’ve seen anything this gay and this realistic on TV. I actually felt myself going back to my single days when I used to meet guys in bars and wondering about if something like that could have happened to me. No spoilers. It’s worth watching.
American Horror Story’s gay fan base always get nods from the show, but last night’s episode set new records in gay content.
Last week things were already getting a little queer with the opportunist murderer character having some same-sex lovin’ with a good-looking gladiator.
And this week, it didn’t take long for his sexuality to get called out after he dropped some, ahem, reading material on the floor.
But that’s not all that happened. Matt Bomer showed up for a small part, and one of the big bad butch straight male characters on the show is in love with him. You can check out the photos here.
Rose McGowan Slams Golden Girls
Chucklefuck, Rose McGowan, is at it again, and this time she’s slamming a TV show that was produced about 30 years ago in a different time and era. And this article I’m linking to now really gets under my skin because it seems to be supporting Chucklefuck McGowan to a certain extent. I don’t feel the need to apologize to her. I never insulted her or feminists. Alec Baldwin’s homophobic rants cost him jobs. But a self-proclaimed feminist gets a free pass for stereotyping and discriminating against gay men and I’m supposed to feel apologetic?
In any event, here’s what she said about the Golden Girls. She did this in a quasi apology with more homophobic comments, showing that her sense of entitlement goes deeper than we’ve imagined.
But then she said this, which is a little rude: “I see now people who have basically fought for the right to stand on top of a float wearing an orange Speedo and take molly.” Ouch.
And in her apology, she tells a story about how a gay friend of hers called Blanche from Golden Girls a slut, and then she yelled at him and corrected him, which just sounds annoying. Rose, please don’t attempt to goldsplain the show to us. It’s OK to call Blanche a slut. That’s not misogyny. That’s just being real.
She has friends?
For those who don’t know, the Golden Girls was not a TV show meant to be taken seriously for its social commentary. It’s a comedy and the humor still stands up today. Did anyone take the Golden Girls seriously back in the 1980’s? No. People laughed with it and found it entertaining. But we didn’t study it in Gender Equality class. Although, ironically, the Golden Girls featured strong female characters living without men, supporting themselves alone, and doing very well at it in spite of their circumstances and their generation. It was also one of the first network TV shows to discuss AIDS openly…in a time when no one else was discussing it. Strike one for good ole Rose McGowan.
Rose McGowan has a lot to learn about gay men, and finding a sense of humor. Because the one common thread I’ve found throughout her gay homophobic comments and even in her apology is that she’s generalizing and stereotyping all gay men the same way misogynists have been doing to women since the beginning of time. The only difference is that we’re still vulnerable and don’t have an official term like misogynist. Just the idea that she would assume all gay men fighting for equality get up on floats in speedos blows me away. I could give examples of how this would work with other minorities but it’s too disgusting to even get into. I’ve never been on a float, and never will.
What Rose McGowan should be more focused on is how some women (not all) are out there exploiting gay men. We never hear anything about that, but it happens daily.
