Let’s here it for the gay team, because Josh and Brent, The Fabulous Beekman Boys, just won this season’s million dollar grand prize on The Amazing Race.
I’ve been following this show since it started, but this season I’d fallen behind because Josh and Brent were on and I wanted to see more of them and I wasn’t seeing more of them. So I lost interest and just started fast forwarding the DVR for Josh and Brent scenes.
But I had a feeling they’d win in spite of the lack of coverage they got on the show. And I couldn’t be more thrilled for them.
Amazing Race 21 Josh & Brent won the entire show tonight for the finale episode. The finale show started off with the final four teams, learning they had to go to Barcelona,Spain. Then head for the Loire Valley in France. Once there, they had to transport a bunch of crates,by car, to a large garden area to find their next clue. Once they completed that, they had to find Leonardo Da Vinci’s final resting place to get their next clue.
I wish I could post photos, but these days of who knows what grand photographer is going to sue if you use their “work of art.” I’ve stopped unless I know a photo is public domain…or has legal uses that fall into the category of blogging. As a side note, one thing on my “to do” list is to take a long weekend and see what Sharon Springs, NY is really like. From what I’ve seen on the Beekman Boys show it looks like a nice place to get away from it all and relax.
