A Christmas Carl Christmas Print Book Giveaway Weekend
Update: Someone asked me if the giveaway is open to non US citizens and I guess I forgot to make that clear. So yes, this giveaway is open to everyone on this planet. I hate when other places limit contests and giveaways and I don’t want to do that.
This weekend I’m doing a Christmas holiday giveaway with an autographed, brand new copy of A Christmas Carl. This is the first time this book has been available in paperback.

Bollywood Casting Couch Experience
Ranveer Singh is a well known Bollywood film actor and he’s speaking candidly about the sexual harassment he’s experienced, and the overall process young actors go through to become stars.
Singh said he met one man, who he doesn’t name, who offered him a chance at success in exchange for sexual favors. “When I said ‘no’ (to his demands), he acted like a jilted lover,” Singh reveals. “Later, I got to know that he does it to everyone.”

I actually think this kind of thing has been going on all over for a long time with men, only men tend to not talk about these things as openly as women. Maybe because we’re not expected to talk about them? I’m not sure. I also know a lot of women hesitate to talk openly about these things when they happen.
Gay Guy Gets Jail Time For Oral Sex
I guess this guy learned his lesson. Even though it’s a strange story and you have to wonder why these three were hanging out together, the fact remains that no one should have sex with someone unless there’s consent. Period.
The incident happened in May of last year after Everard met the man and his girlfriend at a bar. Everard and the girlfriend hung out together all night. At some point in the evening, the victim left the pair to go back to he and his girlfriend’s shared apartment. Later that night, the girlfriend invited Everard back to the apartment to keep hanging out. Once there, the girlfriend passed out on the sofa. Meanwhile, Everard and the victim fell asleep in the couple’s bed, fully clothed.
Hours later, the victim awoke to find someone giving him oral sex in the dark. Assuming it was his girlfriend, he kept his eyes closed. When he finally opened them, however, he was “in a state of shock and anger” to see it was actually Everard.
“You liked it,” Everard allegedly taunted him before running out of the apartment. He later sent a message to the girlfriend on Facebook telling her: “Your boyfriend needs to calm down.”
This week, Everard was sentenced to 18 months in prison for the incident. He has also been placed on the register of sex offenders.
I wonder if the girl who tried to perform sex with me without consent when I was seventeen years old would have received jail time if I had reported it? Of course I never reported it and never even mentioned it aloud to anyone until right now, here on this blog. At the time I wasn’t openly gay and straight men don’t report sexually aggressive women. She didn’t get very far and I stopped it eventually. But it wasn’t easy to stop her and it was an experience I don’t remember fondly. Up until that point she’d been a friend, and after that night I never spoke a single word to her again. She became nothing to me but a lesson in life.
