95 Year Old Grandpa Comes Out
Without getting into spoilers, I tackle this particular topic, in detail, in my most recent book, Said With Care. The link is below. I wanted to do this because I’ve always heard these stories, and I’ve always wondered about them myself. I can’t even imagine how hard it must be to not come out at an early age, but it happens more often than not and this story proves it.
But this isn’t your typical feel-good, old-couple-that’s-been-married-since-forever kinda film. There’s a major twist. In the film, Roman, at age 95, reveals to his grandkids a secret he’s been keeping for nearly a century.
He’s gay, and his wife knew this for years.
Trump’s Civil Rights Pick Is Very Scary
This one is a little difficult to parse, so I’m not making any comments on it. In general, though, it is a little scary when you don’t get a strong, solid response. Not being sure worries me.
Eric S. Dreiband is Donald Trump’s pick to head the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division. During his senate confirmation hearing this week, Dreiband said he’d be “zealous” in protecting civil rights of all people… unless they’re LGBTQ, then he’s not sure.

Josh Duggar’s Court Date For Catfishing Trial
Josh Duggar is back in the news, and this time it’s about his catfishing trial.
The California Superior Court of L.A. County just scheduled Josh’s trial for March 7, just four days before his 30th birthday. It is expected to last three to five days and will be held before a jury, per Duggar’s request.
