Israel Politician and Doctors Not Treating Gay Patients

Whenever I read things like this I feel bad for the gay people who have to endure the frustration and agony. An incoming minister in Israel is now stating that he believes doctors should be allowed to refuse treatment to all LGBTQ people.

Thankfully, Israeli President, Isaac Herzog, has come out in public to condemn anti-gay agendas like this. And he made himself very clear about it. But I’m not sure about how much power he has because I don’t know much about Israel’s government.

“The racist pronouncements of recent days against the LGBTQ community and other sectors of the public make me extremely worried and concerned.”

Here’s more. It goes on to discuss more about LGBTQ patients being denied treatment by certain doctors or even hotels refusing to cater to gay groups. It sounds as though this is a huge growing debate in Israel that sort of reminds me of what’s happening her in the US with ultra conservative MAGA Christian groups.

Uncertainty on Amazon

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no-nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
