Florida Legislator Who Authored Don’t Say Gay Bill Resigns Because of COVID Relief Fraud Charges

His name is Joseph Harding and he is the guy who authored and sponsored the don’t say gay bill in Florida. I posted about him yesterday and I knew we would be hearing more about his story.

Apparently, after being indicted on charges that range from wire fraud to money laundering, in the midst of this scandal Harding has decided to resign from his position.

This is Harding’s statement.

“It has been a great honor to serve the people of this state and more specifically the people of Levy and Marion Counties,” Harding said. “However, due to legal issues that require my complete focus, it is my opinion that now is the time to allow someone else to serve my district.”

Here’s more. There’s a photo of him at the link.

A Different Kind of Southern Love Story

What readers are saying about “Uncertainty”

Amazon

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no-nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
