Neal Bledsoe Leaves GAC Network Because of Candace Cameron Bure Comments

A few weeks ago I posted about Candace Cameron Bure commenting that she will only deal with traditional marriage stories on the new “family oriented” channel, GAC Family.

Bure made this statement, in public. And there has been huge backlash ever since.

“I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core,” the Full House alum said.

I actually thought all the backlash would die down eventually and we wouldn’t hear any more about it, however, now actors associated with GAC are jumping ship.

Neal Bledsoe just left GAC and he made a strong statement.

“I cannot take comfort from, nor will I give refuge to, those who excuse exclusion and promote division in any way, shape, or form. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, and these are mine: the recent comments made by leadership at Great American Family are hurtful, wrong.

Here’s the rest. His statement is much longer and it’s from the heart. He’s truly a real life hero standing up to bullies.

Anti-Gay Kirk Cameron Denied Story Hour in Libraries

I think the world knows how far right Christian zealot, Kirk Cameron, feels about LGBTQ people, and how he’s getting payback for everything he has said and done.

We all heard and witnessed the far right scream out about drag queen story hour, even though it’s the most harmless thing in the world. Well, in retaliation libraries are now banning together to keep Kirk Cameron from doing story hours with his own book.

You can read all about that, here.

I wonder how good old Kirk now feels about this one.

A Different Kind of Southern Love Story

What readers are saying about “Uncertainty”

Amazon

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no-nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
