Candace Cameron Bure Addresses Her Comments About Gay Movies

Candace Cameron Bure made a few comments about not doing gay movies and now she’s getting a ton of backlash. And from what I hear, it’s coming from all over, including from people associated with the GAC network. Even the CEO of GAC, Bill Abbott, diplomatically responded to Bure’s comments by stating that there is not set plan right now for anything on GAC.

And now Bure put out a long diatribe addressing her comments. It’s very religious, but I respect that. I know more than a few religious LGBTQ people who belong to various churches.

This is how Bure responded to films with same-sex storylines.

“We haven’t specifically had those discussions. That isn’t completely up to me, because there is a board that are behind all of those decisions, but of course it will be talked about. And you know, we’ll see. We’ll see how it goes.”

Here’s more. I think she handled this well and I think she saved herself. I know some of you will disagree with me, but I look at it from a unique POV. I’m so sick and tired of our Hollywood so-called allies hiring straight people to write and act gay content I could scream. At least I know where Bure stands and she’s not trying to appropriate my culture like the people who did The Policeman or Call Me by Your Name.

And I like knowing where I stand with people.
