Guy Who Won Gay Rights Case with SCOTUS Settles Lawsuit

Gerald Bostock was one of three cases where SCOTUS ruled that LGBTQIA people are protected from discrimination in workplaces.

And now, a county in Georgia has decided to settle on a lawsuit with him. The county settled with Gerald Lynn Bostock for 825K. Bostock believes he was fired in 2013 because he’s gay.

Bostock made a statement that he’s thrilled he won and that it’s finally over. I’m sure he is.

Here’s where you can read more. It goes into a little more detail, plus there is a video of Bostock showing his gratitude. I find it frustrating that it took so long for them to settle.

A Different Kind of Southern Love Story

What readers are saying about “Uncertainty”

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no-nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
