Gay Afghan Student Murdered by Muslim Taliban

Here’s another awful story from the global front. An innocent young gay Afghan Student, Hamed Sabouri, was allegedly abducted, tortured, and murdered at a Taliban traffic checkpoint. And this is being considered the most recent act of violence in the midst of rising violence against gay men in that region.

He was tortured for 3 days, then shot, and the entire thing was videoed. These monsters then sent the video to his family.

Hamed’s partner is grieving for the love of his life and Hamed’s family has left their home for fear of their own lives.

Here’s the rest. You’ll see a photo of Hamed. And there’s more about his family.

Russia Will Make Anti-Gay Propaganda Law Tougher

Why there even is an anti-gay propaganda law is beyond me. Get this, they want to ban the denial of family values. Now please tell me how any gay people are denying family values? In fact, the gay people I know what to have those same family values with families of their own. I follow one gay couple on Twitter where the two gay fathers can’t wait to assimilate into the mainstream. One of them is a local weatherman in Philadelphia and he’s always posting about “straight” related events and you never, ever see him talking about gay culture.

In any event, this law which they claim will “protect” Russians is nothing more than an evil retaliation against the west for what’s been going on lately. And how sad it is that they would target the smallest, most harmless groups in the world?

Here’s the link.  I think the entire world is headed for some difficult times, and we can only thank Russia.

A Different Kind of Southern Love Story
