LGB Gay Activist Assaulted by Trans People at Pride in Vermont

It’s such a shame this had to happen in Vermont. It was one of the first states to begin fighting for gay marriage. But the world is constantly changing and new things are popping up each day.

In case you didn’t know, there is this group on the fringes that call themselves LGB. In short, this means they want nothing at all to do with anyone who falls under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. I know that sounds counterproductive, but it is what it is. LGB means Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexuals want nothing to do with the rest of us. And they are particularly cruel to trans people. So the article to which I’m linking is giving you a misguided headline. They make it appear that trans people knocked down this poor helpless elderly gay activist when the truth is they knocked down one of these angry LGB people.

I have seen and witnessed, firsthand, the nasty things LGB people will do on Twitter. One came after me once and I reported him and they shut down his page. It was really bad and I avoid anyone LGB completely now.

While I do agree that the assault was wrong and I do not support violence of any kind, trans people had every right to be angry and insulted.  This elderly LGB activist was holding a sign-up that compared being trans to wearing blackface and insulting women who are not trans.  He clearly doesn’t get the fact that trans women are women, or that there are black trans women.

The real shame here is that we…all LGBTQIA people and those who identify as LGB…are still marginalized groups and many of those very same women that this elderly man was defending would be the first to discriminate against him.

In any event, here’s more about this story.  As I said earlier, the article is swaying toward the older LGB man, and that’s unfair. These LGB people are ruthless in their quest to put down anyone who falls under the umbrella of LGBTQIA+ and I have experienced this personally.

There is also a thread on Reddit all about this story.
