Famous Runner Nico Young Comes Out As Gay, More About Billy Eichner's New Gay Movie, "Bros" Ryan Field Books

Famous Runner Nico Young Comes Out As Gay

I just love these coming-out stories. I see it more and more each day, with famous people and also not so famous people.

This time it’s about the well-known champion runner, Nico Young. As most do these days, he came out on Instagram.

I have struggled to accept myself, but I am becoming more proud and happy with who I am. I have realized that the only reason I never liked this part of who I am was because of what society has told me, not because of how I actually feel.

Here’s more to the story. It’s never easy for anyone to come out, which is why we take coming out so seriously. Never, EVER out someone. That’s one of the cardinal rules.

More About Billy Eichner’s New Gay Movie, “Bros”

There is another new gay film out titled, “Red, White, and Royal Blue,” that’s based on a book that was written by a non-gay woman. Being that I despise any form of cultural appropriation…non-gay women writing gay content is like me writing transgender content…I am thrilled to see that Billy Eichner’s new movie will be coming out soon. It’s titled, “Bros,” and here is more about it.

“To this day, I’m waiting for someone at the studio to call me and go, ‘You know, now that we think about it, you’ve gone too far.’ But it never happened,” Eichner, 43, says in this week’s Variety cover story. “There’s part of me that realized some of this would be eye-opening for certain people in the audience, and I loved that too.”

The rest is here. With the exception of Nick Stoller, it looks as if everyone involved in the film is either gay or trans.

Stay in your own lane, straight people writing gay content. We can handle that ourselves, as you can well see from Billy Eichner’s latest project, “Bros.”
