More Details On Florida’s Don’t Say Gay Law

Ever since it was announced that Florida was pushing a bill that will censor LGBTQ voices, there have been many discussions. Mostly about what the bill is about. Conservatives will argue that it changes nothing, except for the fact that you can’t discuss anything LGBTQ-related to small kids. The worst of the MAGA types call this “grooming,” and they claim LGBTQ people are trying to turn their kids either gay or transgender. Which is ridiculous. We’re all born that way and no one can turn us. They really are stupid.

Liberals claim the bill is basically a “don’t say gay” law that will cause a great deal of harm and damage to kids and LGBTQ families. This article to which I’m linking calls the bill out for what it is. It was never designed to be anything with great detail. It’s a hate law.

It was designed to do one thing and one thing only: terrorize LGBTQ+ people.

Here’s more. Now that this is officially the law, a teacher can’t even wear a rainbow sticker. The author of this piece not only slams Republicans but also Democrats who aren’t doing anything.

The bottom line is that we are still fighting the conservative, backward straights.

What readers are saying about “Uncertainty”

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no-nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
