Gay Men with Monkeypox Share Their Stories, Ryan Field Books

Gay Men with Monkeypox Share Their Stories

One thing I don’t want to get is Monkeypox. Just the thought of is creeps me out. Especially after reading this article where gay men talk openly about their experiences with Monkeypox. There are almost 7,000 known cases of Monkeypox around the globe.

Nevertheless, 18 gay men who contracted monkeypox told NBC News how it can cause unsightly and in some cases debilitatingly painful skin lesions — and has left them stuck glumly inside.

Here’s more.  The article goes on to explain more about Monkeypox in general and what it can do. There are also a few videos and a like to an even more in-depth story.

C'mon Twitter It's Time to Use Real Names and Identities and Weed Out the Cowards, Ryan Field Books

C’mon It’s Time to Use Real Names and Identities and Weed Out the Cowards

I’ve been working online for over 20 years now and I’ve seen every form of social media there is, from google blogger in the old days to Tiktok now. And the one thing that still amazes me with all social media is that so many people will still hide behind a fake name and identity. I think the two most notorious places are Amazon and Twitter. Amazon is filled with reviews written by cowards who will not use their real names. Twitter is even worse. The vitriol and hate that comes from some of these people on Twitter who hide behind fake names is becoming intolerable.

In the old days, long before social media, if you wanted to write a letter to the editor of a newspaper or magazine in order to place complaints (or praise) of some kind, you had to use your real name and your true identity otherwise the newspaper would not print the letter. And rightly so. People who hide like cowards behind fake names most likely would never say the same things with their real names. We are all more civil and professional with our real names.

So c’mon, Twitter, and all other social media out there (I’m not singling out Twitter). Start keeping it real and clean up the internet a little. We call for full transparency for politicians, actors, authors, and business owners and the same should be done with anyone out there using social media. Full transparency for Mrs. Starry Nite of Twitter and full transparency of Mr. Bag of Cones on Amazon. It’s only fair to those of us who do use our real names and identities.

Of course, I know this won’t happen any time soon.

Most Child Sex Offenders Are Straight Men, Ryan Field Books

Most Child Sex Offenders are Straight Men

I am so sick and tired of these MAGA types running around all over social media claiming that LGBTQIA people are sex offenders. They make these broad generalizations without even backing them up with research. So I decided to post about it. And I did do some research. In fact, all you need to do is a simple search for this topic. This comes from the stop abuse campaign, which I believe to be accurate.

MOST STRAIGHT MEN ARE CHILD SEX OFFENDERS

Most child sex offenders consider themselves heterosexual [1]. Jerry Sandusky and Jared Fogel are two famous examples of married, heterosexual sex offenders who fathered children.

Here’s more. The article gets into more detail about sex abuse and statistics. It’s a very interesting piece that I highly suggest reading.

A Teen in Florida is Killed by a Guy Who Feared Being Outed, Ryan Field Books

A Teen in Florida is Killed by a Guy Who Feared Being Outed

To this day gay men are still terrified of being “outed.” And this incident happened with teens. Nowadays you’d think all younger people are so open about being LGBTQ, but sadly that is not the case. The same kind of fear and shame is still there.

“There was some concern that Telan either had or was going to post something on social media kind of outing the suspect,” Daytona Beach Police Chief Jakari Young said at a news conference Wednesday.

Here’s the rest. They go into a little more detail. I wonder if Florida’s don’t say gay law contributed to any of this. But I’d just like to say one thing. Please don’t fear coming out. I know how it feels. I’ve been there myself. Coming out is intimidating and you never know how people will react. But I never knew anyone who came out and regretted it.

Dirty Photos that Show South Asia's Homoerotic Sport, Kushti, Ryan Field Books

Dirty Photos that Show South Asia’s Homoerotic Sport, Kushti

There’s a sport in  South Asia that’s not only very dirty but also very homoerotic. Homoerotic in the same way wrestling is here in the US. Only no one ever admits it here. But seriously, you put two hot young men in singlets and tell them to roll around on a matt hugging and groping each other, that’s homoerotic in my book.

Kushti is, indeed, a form of wrestling. I wish I could share one of many photos but I don’t have permission.

Kushti was developed in the Mughal Empire by combining Persian martial arts with influences from native INDIAN combat wrestling. Kushti wrestlers are often trained in judo and jujutsu as well.

Here’s more.  It goes on to explain more of the detail, plus you get to see some excellent photos.

More Details On Florida's Don't Say Gay Law, Ryan Field Books

More Details On Florida’s Don’t Say Gay Law

Ever since it was announced that Florida was pushing a bill that will censor LGBTQ voices, there have been many discussions. Mostly about what the bill is about. Conservatives will argue that it changes nothing, except for the fact that you can’t discuss anything LGBTQ-related to small kids. The worst of the MAGA types call this “grooming,” and they claim LGBTQ people are trying to turn their kids either gay or transgender. Which is ridiculous. We’re all born that way and no one can turn us. They really are stupid.

Liberals claim the bill is basically a “don’t say gay” law that will cause a great deal of harm and damage to kids and LGBTQ families. This article to which I’m linking calls the bill out for what it is. It was never designed to be anything with great detail. It’s a hate law.

It was designed to do one thing and one thing only: terrorize LGBTQ+ people.

Here’s more. Now that this is officially the law, a teacher can’t even wear a rainbow sticker. The author of this piece not only slams Republicans but also Democrats who aren’t doing anything.

The bottom line is that we are still fighting the conservative, backward straights.

Nelson Piquet Called Out Racist and Homophobic Slurs To Lewis Hamilton, Ryan Field Books

Nelson Piquet Called Out Racist and Homophobic Slurs To Lewis Hamilton

This article just shows how we are still treated in certain areas. And as Hamilton states later in the article it’s often done to us by older people who are still stuck in the dark ages.

Even though Piquet was condemned for his slurs, it got even worse when more footage was revealed with worse comments.

His comments had already received widespread backlash from those within the F1 community and beyond, with reports suggesting that the three-time title winner has now been banned indefinitely from the F1 paddock.

Here’s more. There’s a video at the link where you can hear him. He clearly shows no remorse. Hamilton has called for older voices to have less of a platform.
