A Library In New York Has Banned All LGBTQ Content From Children, Oklahoma Theater Posts Warning Sign For Gay Kiss Scene in "Lightyear"

A Library In New York Has Banned All LGBTQ Content From Children

This was shocking to read. There’s a town on Long Island called Smithtown that recently banned all LGBTQ content from their library in the children’s departments. That means any books with LGBTQ content and even the Pride Flag.

The Smithtown Library Board of Trustees has issued a resolution demanding the removal of all LGBTQ+ Pride materials from the children’s departments across all four of the library district’s buildings.

Here’s more.  I thought this kind of thing was over. Not long ago in book publishing anything with LGBTQ content came with an adults-only warning. There didn’t have to be any sex in the books at all. They considered anything LGBTQ harmful to children.

I do think they’re making a big mistake. They’re following this MAGA mindset and it’s going to backfire. I think it also shows that this kind of homophobia can happen in any state.

Oklahoma Theater Posts Warning Sign For Gay Kiss Scene in “Lightyear”

There is one simple kissing scene in the film Lightyear and all the MAGAs are up in arms. One little kiss, that’s all it takes to set off the Christians.

This time it’s in Oklahoma, where a theater posted this warning sign below.

“Attention Parents: The management of this theatre discovered after booking ‘Lightyear’ that there is a same-sex kissing scene within the first 30 minutes of the Pixar movie. We will do all we can to fast-forward through that scene, but it might not be exact.”

Here’s the rest. What really bothers me the most is that it’s been proven that straight men are the usual sex abuse types. And these people are worried about one gay kiss.

I feel sorry for LGBTQ people in Oklahoma. This warning the theater posted is more than what it appears to be. This is a direct MAGA attack on all of us.
