The Christians Are Worried About LGBTQIA Propaganda

I usually link to pro-LGBTQIA news items or commentaries, but this time I want to link to one of those weird Christian websites just to show people how homophobic they are. They’re not only homophobic, they are backward and unsophisticated in the most obvious ways. But I don’t want to digress here. This is about the homophobia LGBTQIA people face on a daily basis.

This is actually a petition they’re circulating to basically promote these don’t say gay bills.

Also pass laws that stop every federal and state agency from promoting sexual deviance and trans-genderism to innocent confused children…

Here’s more.  They are revolting. They even claim that LGBTQIA people are forcing little straight kids to become LGBTQIA when that’s not even how it works. Speaking for gay men, we’re born that way and no one can change that. But more than that, you never hear any LGBTQIA people complaining about all that straight stuff we have to listen to in school when we’re kids.

These are people with whom we’ll never reach common ground. Just dismiss them and let history play out. So far, these right-wing Christians have been wrong on every single count, especially when it comes to equal rights.

A Different Kind of Southern Love Story

What readers are saying about “Uncertainty”

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no-nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
