Reality TV Show In Russia Hosted by Right-Wing Politician Called “I’m Not Gay,”
As Russia continues to discriminate against gay people, taking away their rights, and ruining their lives, there’s now a TV reality show that mocks them. This is why my heart goes out to every single gay person in Russia. Or anyone who falls under the LGBTQIA umbrella.
“I’m Not Gay” pits eight contestants against one another in a series of games centered around masculine stereotypes and homophobic humor, to determine which one of them is gay.
Here’s more. It goes into more cultural aspects of how gay people are viewed in Russia. It actually sounds odd and I’m deeply sorry that Russian Gay people are now dealing with this. I know for a fact that I get many many hits from Russia and Eastern Europe on this website. For some reason, I always have had many hits from that part of the world. And if I can do anything that helps you feel even slightly better, I will do it.
