I’m Not Too Excited about Neil Patrick Harris’s New Series

Neil Patrick Harris has a new TV series titled, “Uncoupled,” and I don’t think I’ll be watching it. As a gay man I’m sick of TV shows that are compared to Sex in the City and Modern Family. SATC treated gay men as if they were pet poodles and MF ran from gay culture and treated gay men as if they all can’t wait to just jump in and join the heteronormative world. And for many gay men, nothing could be further from the truth. I never wanted kids and I never wanted to hang out with my best girlfriend.

Based on the first teaser, “Uncoupled” is very much in the vein of “Sex and the City” ― and for good reason. The eight-episode series was co-created by Darren Star, who launched “SATC” back in 1998, and Jeffrey Richman of “Modern Family” and “Frasier.”

Here you go.  I’m sure that straight white women will love it.

Joy Behar Wants to go on a Sex Strike

I’m not joking about this. Joy Behar is calling for a sex strike as a result of Roe vs Wade, and I have no comment.

While the audience laughed at the idea, Behar declared, “We have more power than we think we do and some of it could be in the bedroom.”

Here’s more. So Joy Behar thinks she has sexual power. Aside from all the Joy Behar jokes, I just don’t understand why Behar would want to put all women in such a terrible position. Just because Behar doesn’t want sex, doesn’t mean that other women don’t want to have sex.

I’m also not fond of people who use sex as a weapon. That’s wrong.

Gay Pride Flag Burned in New Jersey Again

Apparently, they’ve been burning the rainbow flag in New Jersey and the mainstream media never bothered to report this.

And it happened in Sparta, NJ, which is a fairly affluent area in Sussex County. I grew up part time in that area because my family owned a weekend home on Lake Hopatcong, which isn’t far from Sparta. I never knew it to be an anti-gay homophobic area.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find those responsible for vandalizing the flag hung outside the Sparta United Methodist Church.

Here’s the rest.  This shows you that homophobia can happen anywhere.
