Here’s more about the don’t say gay bill in Florida. There’s a new amendment to the bill that would force gay kids to tell their parents within a certain amount of time. Which is the same as outing them. And any gay person knows that you never out another gay person.

As written, the amendment does not specify how the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of the student would be protected, in cases where previously the proposed bill had found it possible for them to experience abuse, neglect, or abandonment as a result of their LGBTQ+
