HIV Now Infects More Straight People Than Gay or Bisexual, Ryan Field Gay Romance

HIV Now Infects More Straight People Than Gay or Bisexual

I never thought I would see the day this would happen. Straight people are now getting infected with HIV more than gay or bisexual people.

The figures on late diagnoses are particularly sobering: 51% of women, 55% of heterosexual men and 66% of those aged 65 and over were diagnosed at a late stage, which is after damage to the immune system has begun. This compares with just 29% among gay and bisexual men.

Here’s more. I hope all these people know they don’t have to wait until late stages. Get tested early. HIV is no longer a death sentence. It’s a chronic disease and you can live a full life. It’s a good article that goes into more about HIV, PReP, and how we can manage testing better. They also talk about how the stigma is still there. I see that all the time on Twitter.

Reader Reviews: This is the first of its kind not only a gay retelling of Flowers in the Attic but the first of any kind of retelling of any of the V.C. Andrews books. Usually, two fears strike for fans of any book that is going to get a new twist.

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
