Christian Wedding Photographer Who Refused Gay Couples Loses Big Time
I have no problem with freedom of religion or anything to do with the right to practice any religion. We owned two small businesses and we never refused anyone service. In fact, we wouldn’t refuse anyone service. But I do have a problem with discrimination, especially when the excuse is based on “religious reasons.” Ever since gay marriage has been legalized certain Christian business owners have been refusing gay couples service because they claim it goes against their religion. It’s caused discussions all over the internet.
Thankfully, these anti-gay business owners are losing in court. Legally, it seems you can’t discriminate.
A federal court in New York dismissed a lawsuit filed by a Christian wedding photographer who refused to photograph same-sex weddings.
