Ex-Convict Lori Loughlin Returns to TV in a Sweet Tender Christmas Movie

I have to wonder WTF the people at GAC are thinking. It’s a new cable channel that stands for “Great American County”. It’s clearly a channel that’s geared toward a more conservative group, without mentioning politics. But I highly doubt most of their viewers were pro-same-sex marriage. I’m also so far apart from things like this with what I do in publishing with gay erotic romances that they probably think of me as a heathen. They would be the first ones to judge me.  

And yet here they are, the Great American Country channel, hiring ex-cons to play in sweet tender Christmas movies. Is it just stupidity? Maybe there’s a strategy? What Lori Loughlin did is reprehensible. She actually paid to get her dumb kid into college. I watched my nephews and nieces struggle and study and work their fingers to the bone to get into colleges. I did the same thing when I was applying to colleges. I know first hand it’s not easy to get into a good university, but if you work hard it’s doable. 

But not Lori Loughlin’s kid. Loughlin knew her kid wasn’t getting into that college and she paid for her to get accepted. It was a large college admission scam with other celebrities, too. And now GAC hired Loughlin to do a Christmas movie? 

Hallmark fired Loughlin in the wake of Operation Varsity Blues, which exposed a ring of wealthy parents who allegedly paid millions of dollars to a schemer who bribed college officials, faked extracurricular activities, and fraudulently inflated college entrance exam scores so their children could secure admission to top schools.

Here’s more. I think it’s one of the most disingenuous things I’ve seen in a very long time. But even better, the dumb daughter will be a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. The hypocrisy of Hollywood is unreal. And I have no doubt people will watch this.

And who, you ask, is the headlining star of this safe harbor of holiday entertainment? Why, felon Lori Loughlin, of course. Last year, the “Full House” actor spent two months behind bars after pleading guilty to paying half a million dollars in bribes to get her two daughters into college.
