Book club that started the gay rights movement, Ryan Field Books

Book club that started gay rights movement

This is a part of gay culture and gay history that I didn’t know. There was actually a book club that started the gay rights movement. It’s a fascinating story and I wish that the mainstream would focus more on these stories than on gay Santa kissing a man.

“The Cory Book Service was crucial to the founding of the gay movement,” Johnson said. “If you were a gay person in 1955 founding a gay organization, where do you go? That’s where you go.”

Here’s more. It’s a very long article that’s rich with gay history. You won’t be disappointed.
