PrEP, Privilege, and Gay Men Nowadays, Ryan Field Books

 PrEP and Gay Men Nowadays

This is an excellent piece about PrEP, HIV, privilege, and accessibility for everyone. The majority of our population doesn’t even know about these things.

Whether it’s due to lack of access to insurance, the inability to prioritize health due to unlivable wages, or simply the fear of being “found out” that many in more rural, Southern areas face, the equity gap among HIV-positive people is growing by leaps and bounds.

Here’s more. Personally, I still think we have a huge issue with healthcare in this country, in general. There are boutique doctors, for whom I have no respect at all, who charge people yearly fees in the thousands just to treat them. It’s like belonging to a club of sorts. You pay the doctor several thousand a year to be his patient, and then he continues to charge you his regular fees. Now that’s some good GD gimmick.

A Different Kind of Southern Love Story

What readers are saying about “Uncertainty”

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
