Gay Man Assaulted In Palm Springs In Possible Hate Crime, Ryan Field Books

Gay Man Assaulted In Palm Springs In Possible Hate Crime

Here’s a story that proves gay hate and hate crimes can happen anywhere. Even though Palm Springs…where Tony and I live…has such a huge gay population, we are still not safe from this kind of thing. And we know it, which is why we never let down our guards.

A gay man from Los Angeles was visiting Palm Springs and he was assaulted and left critical.

“There’s no question in my mind that this was motivated by hate,” Carl told local media outlet The Desert Sun. Carl said the man yelled homophobic slurs during the attack.

Here’s the rest. I hope we hear more about this. The guy who was assaulted is now in stable condition.

Amazon

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
