Married Gay Couple Deals with Anti-Gay Slurs in Alexandria, Virginia

I post about how dismal things are in other countries for gay men like pretty much any country in Africa and like what recently happened with the death of a young gay man in Spain. But here’s something that happened right here in the US, in Alexandria, Virginia.

Neighbors say they’ve never heard anything like it anywhere. Vile anti-gay slurs caught on a Ring camera hurled at a gay couple in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. Anti-Asian slurs too. All in a long-simmering dispute over a back alley parking space.

Here’s the link. There’s a video that captured it all. It’s really awful and I feel bad for the gay couple. You can almost feel their chagrin.

What readers are saying about “Uncertainty”

Amazon

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
