Blood Donation Rules for Gay Men In UK Have Changed

After living with antiquated blood donation rules for gay men that date back to the early days of AIDS, the rules seem to be changing. At least they are changing in the UK.

From Monday, gay men in sexually active, monogamous relationships can donate for the first time.

Here’s more.

Gay Sex Robot With Bionic Penis

Here’s something new in the world of adult sex toys and sex robots.

New sex robots from leading AI robotics company RealDoll will be programmable as gay or straight, depending on your preference.

Here’s the link. There are photos of the robot and a lot more details about how it’s going to work. Apparently, this is a first.

They Can’t Exclude Gay Men From the ACT UP Story

I remember the ACT UP movement well back in the early 90s. I used to rush to the gay venues back then in Philadelphia or New York to read as many gay newspapers as I could find so I knew what was going on. And I know for a fact that many gay men were active in ACT UP.

With that said, there was an article written about the origins of ACT UP and they allegedly excluded gay men. This left many people angry.

It sounds as though this is someone else trying to rewrite HIV/AIDS history.

The article doesn’t once mention gay men, a deeply hurtful oversight given the 40 years of devastation that HIV has caused gay communities across the globe and the important role that gay men have taken and continue to take in the fight against HIV.

You can read it here.  There’s a link to the original article, too.

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
