Michaela Kennedy Andrew Cuomo's Daughter Comes Out As Queer, Pride Month and Hillary Duff's 2008 'That's so Gay' Comment About Homophobia, Ryan Field Books

Michaela Kennedy Andrew Cuomo’s Daughter Comes Out As Queer

I’m not totally sure if this means Michaela Kennedy is bisexual or gay, but she came out as queer and she posted a whole explanation on social media. And I guess that’s all we need to know for now.

“To those who are contending with the compulsive heterosexuality our society force feeds us and innate attraction beyond cis het folks, please know that you are not alone,” she wrote.

Here’s more.  There are photos of her and it’s a rather long post.

Pride Month and Hillary Duff’s 2008 ‘That’s so Gay’ Comment About Homophobia

Here’s a nice article that’s all about Pride month. I’ve been passing on more than a few articles because they keep calling it “Gay Pride” month and it’s not. It’s “LGBTQ Pride” month. In any event. This one I liked.

That is all to say there is exactly one piece of inspiring LGBT content that matters to me, and, like many queer millennials, I revisit it fondly once a year. Let us never forget when Hilary Duff told us it’s not cool to call things “gay” as an insult.

Here’s the rest. Unfortunately, I still see straight people…even allies…say things like this all the time. And they don’t even know they are insulting us. It’s gonna take a long, long time. That straight privilege runs deep.

Don’t Be Afraid of Virginia’s Woolf

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
