The Awful Photo of the Carters and the Bidens
I think it’s safe to assume that move people have seen that new promo photo out with Mr. and Mrs. Biden sitting with former President and Mrs. Carter. The Bidens traveled all the way down to Georgia for this photo op. But it backfired in a very peculiar way.
According to some people, the photo was taken with a wide lens and it looks totally distorted. The Bidens appear massive, towering over the tiny frail Carters. I’m not an expert in photography and I really don’t care about those details. At first glance, it looks odd. Don’t bore me with explanations. They don’t matter to me in this case. My problem here is with the bottom line. Some moron posted a photo of President and Mrs. Carter that was not very flattering. And it never should have been posted.
President Carter and his wife are two of the most dignified, respected people in this world. They deserved better. Most people on the Internet were kind, and there were a few funny jokes made all in good fun. But my point is that this photo never should have been posted in the first place. It was wrong. You don’t do that to a former President or his wife. I personally would never have allowed a photo like that to go public. NEVER.
Plain and simple.
Gay Art On Etsy Is Kind of Interesting In a Straight Way
I love gay art because it’s always been such a huge part of gay culture. Yesterday I posted about a gay fetish artist and today I’m linking to gay art on Etsy.
Some of it’s interesting, too. I’m not sure if this was written by a straight person or not. It sounds straight to me. As a gay man, I would never write something like this. I know for a fact cruising restrooms is part of gay culture and I don’t care if you like it or not. And it doesn’t sound “gross” to me.
Cruising in a bathroom? Sounds gross right? However, a short time ago…being a homosexual was illegal, as was engaging in any sort of homosexual behavior. There were not many safe places to go. One of biggest cruising highways for gay men consisted of bathrooms…and to some, they are still a place of fun.
