Caitlyn Jenner on Trans Girls in Women’s Sports

I see this argument all over and I honestly don’t know enough to really comment. But I always wonder about trans men in men’s sports. We never hear much about that. It’s always about trans girls in women’s sports. And some of the most liberal people out there will turn on you if you even suggest there’s nothing wrong with trans girls playing in women’s sports. The arguments I have seen are vicious.

This is what Jenner recently said.

“That’s why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls’ sports in school. It just isn’t fair. And we have to protect girls’ sports in our schools,” Jenner said Saturday during a brief interview in a Malibu parking lot.

Here’s more.  As I said, I don’t know much about this, but just looking at the surface I tend to disagree with Jenner. Many are claiming that Jenner made these comments because she’s running for Governor and she is pandering to her straight white conservative base. This also brings up another important factor. Even though Jenner, a trans woman, claims to be a conservative, will straight white privilege conservatives actually embrace her and support her as a viable candidate? My guess is that they won’t embrace her. But I could be wrong about that. Like the old song says, you never can tell.

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
