Gay Weatherman Fired for Political Post

The details right now are sketchy with this one so I can’t comment. But one of the things I always notice about the weather people I follow on social media is that they never get political. No one wants to hear the weather people talking about politics. It doesn’t matter what kind of politics it is. We’re not interested.

Sundgaard shared a post on his Facebook that called the protestors “white nationalist Nazi sympathizer gun fetishist miscreants.” A far-right news outlet reported on Sundgaard’s post, and former Republican congressman Jason Lewis shared it. Sundgaard took down the post but was still fired.

Here’s more. They always take down the posts. I guess they don’t know about screenshots. I’ve been saying this for years. Whatever you put on the Internet, stays on the Internet. It never goes away. Don’t be that guy. Of course, you can have your opinions but think first.

Don’t Be Afraid of Virginia’s Woolf

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
