Netflix’s “Special” Season Two Is Dropping This Month
I love the TV show “Special” and I love the guy who is responsible for it, Ryan O’Connell. Ryan O’Connell stars in the show and he created it. The series is based on Ryan’s memoir, I’m Special: And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves, which is wonderful in itself. But the series is smart, on target, and taps into topics we normally don’t hear in LGBTQ stories in the mainstream. And that’s because Ryan O’Connell isn’t a straight who is faking it.
I just can’t rave about this show or the memoir enough.
The second season of Netflix’s Special is just over a month away and with it comes the show’s end. Created by Ryan O’Connell, who also stars in the Emmy-nominated series, the show will put on a final slate of eight episodes at 30 minutes a piece. But, they are coming with new cast members.
Here’s more. It’s actually a very sexy show, too. I also think that’s because it’s so authentic. I can almost promise I’ll post more about this before the end of the month.
