Armie Hammer of “Call Me By Your Name” is Being investigated For Serious Rape Allegation

The book and film, “Call Me By Your Name,” has always been problematic for me for more than one reason. For one thing, it was promoted as a gay romance but the story was written by a straight male author. There are other reasons, but I’m not getting into that because this is not a review of the book or the movie. This is about recent allegations regarding straight actor, Armie Hammer, who played a character in “Call Me By Your Name.” These allegations are very serious and I’m going to remain completely objective. Just facts.

“We can confirm that Armie Hammier is the named suspect in an alleged sexual assault investigation, initiated on February 3, 2021,” LAPD Officer Drake Madison spoke to Deadline on Thursday, March 18.

If you believe in the fundamentals of “innocent until proven guilty,” you’ll understand what I mean. If you don’t know what that means, this might help, and please keep in mind that this is very simplistic…

The 6th Amendment also enables an individual to have legal assistance, regardless of the charge, and the right to confront adverse witnesses and notice of accusations. These rights are given to all men or women under trial for any sort of wrongdoing. They establish the “innocent until proven guilty” mantra that is present in the United States legal system.

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”

“Best Gay Novel In Years. This story will stay with you and you will feel you know every character and the beauty of their home in the mountains of North Carolina.”
