When They Tell You Being Gay Is Just a Phase

I’m thankful and proud to admit that I don’t think I know anyone who thinks being gay is just a phase.  I’m pretty sure that everyone in my life knows and understands that people are born gay. It’s not something that just happens all of a sudden.

With that said, there are still people around who need to be reminded.

A gay couple who have been together for more than two decades offered up a striking rebuttal to the homophobic refrain that being gay is a phase.

Here’s more.  It’s a good article, and interesting from a nostalgia POV. The only thing I would like to mention is that Obama did not legalize same sex marriage. Same-sex marriage became legal state by state, and then SCOTUS finally legalized it on a federal level. Let’s not change the way history went down.

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
