First There was Richard Grenell and Then There Was Pete Buttigieg, Ryan Field Books

First There was Richard Grenell and Then There was Pete Buttigieg

I’ve seen more than a few headlines this week by the manipulative media raving about the fact that Pete Buttigieg will be Secretary of the Department of Transportation in the Biden Administration. And it is a big thing for him and for LGBTQ people. If you recall, Buttigieg was the only openly gay candidate to run against Biden in the Democratic Primaries and he wound up taking his place in line behind the elderly Biden with regard to the presidency. That’s how those things work in politics. But I digress.

President-elect Joe Biden announced on Wednesday that the former presidential candidate and South Bend, Indiana, mayor was his choice to run the Department of Transportation

Here’s more.

With that said, when President Trump announced that Richard Grenell would be acting Director of National Intelligence, very little was published. Buttigieg and Grenell are both openly gay, both highly successful in their fields, and both have made LGBTQ history in a positive way.

Acting cabinet secretaries do not get chairs but president Trump wanted me to have mine because, as he said, ‘You are the first openly gay Cabinet Secretary and it’s a big deal.’”

Here’s the link to this.

Both men deserve our respect. I’m not taking sides and this isn’t about politics for me. When all this goes down in history, and it will go down in history, I just want to be on the right side. If there’s a gay person who made history, I want to know about it and I don’t care which party he’s affiliated with.

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
